Holy Trinity Church, Bolton, was the venue for the Church Lads' Brigade band practises held in the school hall.
They were preparing in this photograph for their annual week's camp, held at Douglas in the Isle of Man, in the spring of 1955. Corporal Harold Atkinson is seen giving instruction to the bass drummer.
