NICKY Summerbee, who played a key role in Wanderers' vital victory at Nottingham Forest 10 days ago, gets a chance to sharpen up his match fitness with a runout in the reserves tonight.
The winger has been striving for full match fitness since he joined Wanderers from Sunderland in January, will be one of a number of first team squad members involved in the game at Tranmere (ko 7pm).
Steve Banks, cleared after having a scan on the knee he injured in the warm-up at Forest, gets a game along with John O'Kane, Anthony Barness and the former Bishop Auckland winger, Jeff Smith, who joined Wanderers on a short-term contract last week.
