A 10-YEAR-OLD boy's bicycle was stolen as he was buying a card for Mother's Day.
Christopher McCaughtrie was reduced to tears when he left a newsagent's in Minerva Road, Farnworth, to discover his bike had gone.
And his mother, Deborah, who lives in Lobelia Avenue, Farnworth, has pleaded for parents across the town to keep an eye out for it.
She said: "If any parent has suddenly seen their child riding on a new bike, then please contact me. My son is heartbroken."
The £400 red and black Shogun Drako cycle is Christopher's second bike to go missing in a year.
If you think you have seen the cycle, phone Deborah on tel: 706524.
