LUIS Boa Morte is appealing against an FA misconduct charge brought after allegedly spitting at Robbie Elliott during the Fulham-Wanderers clash at Craven Cottage on May 4.
The Portuguese striker, on loan from Arsenal, was sent off after reacting to a challenge by the Reebok defender, who later explained that his opponent spat in his face twice.
Boa Morte is currently serving a three match ban for the red card but faces a heavy fine and further suspension if found guilty of misconduct.
