A SERIES of seminars for ethnic minority women thinking of starting their own business has been hailed as a success.
The seminars, organised by Aysha Patel, Women's Enterprise Officer with Bolton Council's Ethnic Minorities Business Service, equip women with the skills and knowledge necessary for running a business. They were funded by the European Regional Development Fund and ranged from a self-employment awareness day to marketing and advertising, book-keeping and taxation.
Ethnic minority women considering starting their own business can contact Aysha at EMBS, Bolton Enterprise Service, Washington Street on Bolton 336150.
