THE HSBC bank in Deansgate, Bolton has a new branch manager.
Mr Martyn White, aged 49, has taken over from Phil Hawker, who has moved to the bank's Divisional Management Centre in Leeds.
Chester-born Mr White, who joined the bank in 1970, was previously manager at HSBC's Burnley branch.
He has lived in Lancashire for the past 15 years with his wife Judith and children Daniel (20) and Claudia (18).
Mr White has been a churchwarden and school governor for more than five years and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
In his spare time he enjoys walking, reading and listening to music.
