BOLTON'S unique Young Entrepreneur Programme has its latest recruit -- Mark Pollitt.

The scheme offers specialist support to business owners under 30 years of age who intend to trade in Bolton and Bury.

It is operated by the council's Bolton Enterprise Services with the support of European funding and local organisations.

Mark, aged 27, is establishing DigiComm BCS Ltd in Heaton to provide communication solutions for businesses. He will recommend efficient cost saving measures such as video conferencing. Mark, who has worked in this field for other companies, believes he has enough contacts to go it alone.

He said today: " I am delighted to have been accepted on to the scheme and have already received excellent support in putting my plans together".

Places are still available on the fourth annual Bolton Young Entrepreneurs' course.
