IN response to the letter in the BEN on March 16 about the Community Charge leaflet having a planner in favour of the ethnic community, to me this is another way of decrying the indigenous population of this country. Something our Home Secretary likes to do, "Things" I think was the word Jack Straw used.
Perhaps Bolton Council could level things up a bit next year by printing a planner on English Saints, not British as your previous writer suggested? St George's Day might be a good start.
