A BOLTON company has joined forces with the Aluminium Packaging Recycling Organisation (Alupro) to open an official Recycling Centre for valuable aluminium drinks cans.
S C Chadwick & Sons Ltd, which is based in Oakenbottom Road, is hoping to encourage schools, charities and individuals throughout the region to collect aluminium drinks cans and turn them into cash.
The company, one of 300 "Cash for Cans" recycling centres throughout the country, provides sacks for the collection of cans and promotional literature.

Mr Kay says 22 million aluminium drinks cans are sold in Bolton and the surrounding area each year.
