ON Tuesday, February 20, I had the unfortunate duty of taking my daughter to the accident and emergency department at the Royal Bolton Hospital and my wife and six-year-old son came with us.
Fearing a long evening in front of us we entered the hospital.
Within 10 minutes we had been seen by a nurse who assesed my daughter; within 20 minutes we had seen a doctor who advised her, and within 40 minutes she had been treated and we were on our way home.
The accident and emergency department was spotless and bright, and had everything available to keep my son occupied, including working refreshment machines.
Well done to the staff at accident and emergency and 'thank you'.K J Hudson
