LABOUR must be worried about the electoral chances of part-time local MP Ruth Kelly, if her recent burst of activity has been anything to go by.
Last year she couldn't even be bothered to turn up and vote in Parliament in support of her Ministers, and now three of them are visiting Bolton in the space of a week.
Perhaps her sudden conversion to the cause of Bolton West has something to do with the fact that she will be asking us all to vote for her in a few weeks' time.
Well, I for one believe that Bolton West deserves better, and that's why I'll be supporting a local candidate like James Stevens or Barbara Ronson at the next election.
