CHORLEY NISSAN SUNDAY LEAGUE
IN the CNSL Premier Division, league leaders St Bedes needed a late equaliser to salvage a point in their home game with Adlington Nomads.
Williams, Bolton and Helme scored for St Bedes while Bradley 2 and Farnworth replied for the visitors.
Crown FC were leading 4-0 at half-time in their game with Leyland Railway.
The second period was a little closer, but Crown still ran out winners by eight goals to three. Adam Blackburn notched a hat-trick for Crown and Railways' Mitchell scored for both sides.
Eagle FC continued to pick up points as they ran out 4-1 winners at Queens Head.
Only one game beat the weather in division one, Adlington Rovers are now nine points clear of second place after beating Bridge Celtic 6-0.
