CHORLEY'S popstars are taking a breather as success beckons.
Kevin Simm, the 20-year-old of 'Popstars' fame, and singer and guitarist James Walsh, also 20, of Starsailor, are taking time out to weigh up their future.
Kevin, who has formed a band with his fellow competitors, said: "We are deciding on a manager and a record company. We've had a lot of offers and it has been difficult deciding." He said they were trying to get away from the Popstars tag, although they will feature in a documentary follow-up Nearly Popstars tonight (Thursday).
Meanwhile, James Walsh, singer and guitarist with Starsailor, has been enjoying success with the band's debut EP Fever which made it into the Top 20. Their next single is due out within the next couple of months.
