A MUM has appealed for help after thieves smashed her car window and stole a bag containing her son's medical records this morning.
Denise Kelly, of Marion Street, Great Lever, was devastated after finding the passenger seat window of her Fiesta had been smashed and the bag had been stolen at 9.15am.
The white Fiesta was parked in Plodder Lane, Farnworth, at the time of the attack.
Denise's son, two-year-old Nathan Howarth, suffers from the extremely rare genetic disorder fanconi anaemia and needs regular hospital treatment.
The stolen bag, which is black, contained his medical records and treasured family photos as well as nappies and special food for Nathan.
Anyone who has found the medical book or photos is urged to hand them in at a police station or call Denise on 0802-694448.
