MAGISTRATES gave a thief five goals to be achieved by the time he next appears in court on a deferred sentence.
Barry David Brown, aged 27, of Westbourne Avenue, had admitted stealing a cassette radio belonging to Rucksani Bibi on January 17 this year.
They ordered him to co-operate with the Bolton Drug Misusers Offenders Project, to complete the Start programme and to fully co-operate with the current probation order.
They also ordered him not to commit any further offences and to save at least £22.50 being half the compensation for the cassette radio and to bring it to court with him next time.
The bench at Bolton deferred his sentence for three months until May 14.
