A BEN investigation has revealed that police have good reason to worry about careless Bolton parents letting their children travel without seatbelts.
Last night outside a Breightmet primary school an Evening News reporter discovered the majority of children being driven home were not strapped in.
A straw poll of 20 cars revealed that 10 had children in the back not wearing a seatbelt.
And if you repeat that figure for every primary school in Bolton -- that could mean 1,000 children being taken home from school without their seatbelts on every school day. No belts? Children in the back of a car outside a school in Breightmet
