SAM Allardyce is maintaining his interest in Coventry striker John Aloisi and could return for more talks with the Sky Blues later in the week.
The Wanderers' boss has again confirmed he has had no contact from Wimbledon manager Terry Burton over speculation of interest from the Dons in their old boy Dean Holdsworth.
One deal which could be on the cards is a permanent move for third choice goalkeeper Matt Glennon to Third Division Carlisle United.
Glennon has been on extended loan to the Cumbrians who are reported to be lining up a £50,000 bid.
Speculation is also linking Wanderers with Bournemouth's left sided centre half Eddie Howe who is also believed to be interesting Fulham and Middlesbrough.
Wanderers youngsters take on local rivals Blackburn Rovers in the FA Youth Cup fifth round at Ewood Park tonight.
