THE vulnerable will benefit from the £1.7 million health authority cash windfall given out to Bolton and Wigan.
A spokesman for Wigan and Bolton Health Authority said the extra money, given by the Government to make sure people living in poorer areas do not miss out on vital services, will go towards services which help social care for the elderly, children and the mentally ill.
