WHAT a miserable, sarcastic person retired head teacher Mr Norman Johnson must be, with his attitude regarding the Breakfast Club recently instigated at Bolton's Johnson Fold CP School.
Mr Paul Smith, the recently appointed head teacher at Johnson Fold, has recognised a need and done something about it. He was a very popular deputy head among staff, parents and pupils at his previous school, Cherry Tree CP.
I am sure that his skill, enthusiasm, and other leadership qualities will lead to further improvements at Johnson Fold, and I look forward to reading about them in the future.
All the volunteers who help run the Breakfast Club, and the local companies which sponsor it, deserve the highest praise for showing such a caring attitude, and I wish them every success in the future.
