FIRST sight of the plans for the multi-million pound development on the site of the old Burnden Park is bound to impress.
A massive new Woolworth's flagship store, Big W, will be the centrepiece of the development. Certainly, it will not only give a huge boost to an area which has been plagued by vandalism and scarred by the decaying site, but it will also prove to be a handsome gateway to Bolton.
Hopefully, having been impressed by this particular development, it will also draw in more visitors to our town centre.
