WHEN things go wrong, it's good to see that people power can make a difference. This is certainly the case at Egerton where the council has finally found a way to light up the village Christmas tree.
A lost electricity cable was found and fixed after the BEN revealed residents' protests. Which not only proves the importance of protest, but the truth of that old saying: "Many hands make lights work!"
