CHORLEY Borough Councillor Ralph Snape has returned to politics -- after recovering from a mini-stroke.
The 71-year-old -- who represents West ward as an independent -- said he is feeling fine, and will carry on representing his ward.
And he and his wife -- Councillor Joyce Snape -- wanted to thank all their well-wishers. "We would like to thank all who sent cards and rang with best wishes for Ralph's recovery," they said. "We regret we are unable to deliver our usual cards to all West ward this year but would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year."
Coun Snape was taken ill on November 13 at his Collingwood Road home, Chorley.
