ONE night last week on TV, our Prime Minister was being interviewed.
On his left-hand side was the Union Flag. To the best of my knowledge the Union Flag is 200 years old on January 1, 2001, yet Mr Blair, who sits by its side, will not nationally acknowledge its birthday.
The people of each country taunt one another now and again, but as a nation we have together done a great deal for the people on this earth, and we should be proud.
If we can't salute an old Jack once every 100 years, it is very sad.
