IN the busy run up to Christmas, I was extremely grateful to Waterstones for their offer to wrap any books bought there. My thanks also go to Bolton Samaritans who actually did the work for a small donation.
What an excellent way to support local self-funding charities which offer so much to the town, especially at this hectic and often fraught time of year. Thank you to all concerned.
