Westhoughton have earned a surprise place in the Lancashire Cricket Knockout Competition.
They have been included after the North Lancashire League decided to pull out of the competition.
The Lancashire Cricket Board decided that each of the nine major Leagues could have one extra club in the tournament, and as Westhoughton finished fifth last season in the Bolton League, they have been included.
They now join four other clubs from the League. Champions Kearsley, plus runners up Egerton, Tonge and Little Lever, plus the Hamer Cup holders Greenmount.
Westhoughton were the last Bolton side to win the Knockout Trophy after beating Bootle in the 1998 final.
Little Hulton will be the Bolton Association's 'extra' side in the knockout.
