THE annual Fur and Feather on Doe Hey's bottom water attracted 25 Bolton Rivers Angling Club members.

But anyone attempting to release Bob Fearnhead's grasp on the first prize on matches on the water were disappointed as once more the maestro did the business.

The Worsley Angling Centre man even had to dodge a barrage of bricks halfway through the match but stayed resolute to take a lot of little fish for 4lbs-9ozs on the pole with pinkie. Unattached Jimmy Holden had two skimmers and a decent bag of small silver fish for second place for 4lbs-2ozs. Third was Bolton Anglers Association Dave Hanson who had 3lbs-15ozs of bits on bloodworm and joker. Bolton Rivers man Bill Wrench was fourth with 3lbs-12ozs.
