CONDITIONS were dry for a change in Shore Tops Fur and Feather match but a strong wind made bites difficult to see in the unsheltered pegs.
Simon Stott was hoping to add to his impressive tally of six wins and two second places out of eight club matches but to his credit he gained a third place in one of the less favoured pegs.
In calmer waters was Hughie Campbell who won the match and took the Turkey home after using swimfeeder and maggot. A bottle of the hard stuff went to third placed Steve Booth who also used the feeder to good effect.
1st. Hughie Campbell 7-8-8., 2nd. Steve Booth 6-15-0., 3rd. Simon Stott 3-14-0., 4th. John Turton 3-9-0., 5th. Alan Davies 3-3-8., 6th. Les Salmon 2-8-0
