THE Colliers Arms, Chorley Old Road are leading the way at the top of the men's Section C in the Bolton Darts League in Aid of the Bolton Senior Gateway Club for Mentally Handicapped Adults.

They lead by three points from The Moonlight Club, St George's Road with Rumworth Asbins, Wigan Road in third and Crown Hotel, Horwich in fourth.

Leading Ladies Section One (Moonlight Club, Thursday) is Maureen Taylor by two points from Nicky Thompson with Dot Ainsworth and Chris Boardman in joint third. In joint fifth are Julie Broxton, Dawn Lowe, Alison Redburn, Mabel Macari and Denise Meanley.

The Ladies Section Two (Moonlight Club, Thursday) leader is Edna Ashton by two points from Glennis Brooks and Margaret Rowlands. Eileen Gannon is fourth with Edith Stephens and Angela Heaton in joint fifth.

Ladies Section One (Moonlight Club, Friday) leader is Gina Jones by two points from Pat Boardman and Mavis Naylor. Alison Lomax and Eva Holden are in joint fourth.

Men's Section (Moonlight Club, Friday) -- leading by two points is Dee Mistry from Hitesh Mistry, John Hacking and Jack Fletcher. Close behind are Alan Jones and Bill Rice.

Men's Section C leader is still D Mistry by only one point from S Finch with C Mistry in third followed by P Wilson, M Mendum, J Stringer, S Harter, J Hacking and D Watts.

All secretaries must note that all match result cards must be sent to the League Secretary before the end of each week in order to keep the league tables up to date. Any teams postponing a match must arrange to play within four weeks. Teams failing to do so will lose seven points and 15-0.

Another three more maximum scores of 180 were recorded last week by N Patel (Oasis Club), P Wilson (Colliers Arms) and S Finch (Rumworth Asbins).
