I AM a disabled person with an orange badge and I am absolutely fed up with reading all those carping letters about parking in Bolton.
I for one would like to thank and congratulate the parking attendants (traffic wardens) who do a good job under very difficult circumstances. Do people not realise that if they all parked correctly and with consideration for others there would be no need for parking assistants and consequently they would be out of a job.
As for the man who didn't have time to read the leaflet which accompanies the badge, what can I say? It takes five minutes to read and I would like to ask him: Did he have time to read the highway code before he started driving? I would suggest he parks within the law or "don't park at all".
