THE A58 alterations: This crossing is a death spot. Lock Lane has got worse over the years -- the M61 is part of the cause, as well as speeding cars -- so changes are underway. They are putting five crossings on the main road including islands. I been in this area 37 years. I would not cross there. I've only got one life -- I'm not a cat. It's stupid. Why not go and have a look, and ask the workmen questions?
