CONCERNING Jayne Neville's letter on traffic through the roadworks (December 6).
Signs are marked with the distance to the roadworks so that drivers can filter in well before the roadworks, thereby keeping traffic moving, NOT so that idiots can wait until the last minute to drive into a small gap, or expect drivers who have got into line early to give way to a selfish "I want to be in front" attitude.
