THIS Northern Counties Youth Cup game proved a tale of two halves as Durham County FA opened the scoring on five minutes.
Lancashire replied on 12 minutes when Beavers, of Blackpool Mechanics, slotted home.
Durham took the lead again and were in the driving seat -- scoring a third before half-time to make it 3-1 at the break.
But Lancashire were on fire from the restart, with Ryder, of Daten FC, pulling one back after 50 minutes, and Lakin getting a second to level the scores.
Then with 15 minutes remaining the visitors got the winner when Burscough's Dugdale fired home a low shot inside the near post.
