A NEW industrial and office building is currently under construction to accommodate a purpose built bakery and headquarters for Inter Link Foods plc.
Inter Link Foods is a Lancashire-based company with existing bakeries in Blackburn, Heywood, Oldham and Nottingham. The group currently has 270 employees and has strong links to many of the UK major multiple retailers.
The development marks the start of the second phase of Shadsworth Gateway by Beva Investments, with Phase 1 fully let to occupiers including BAE SYSTEMS, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, and Primary Care Group.
Alex Taylor of retained agent Taylor Weaver said: "Shadsworth Gateway lies near junction 5 of the M65 motorway, and comprises a 10 acre development site where office, industrial, warehouse and high-tech units are available either freehold or leasehold."
