WANDERERS confirmed today that they are in transfer talks with Real Sociedad's Nigerian captain Mutiu Adepoju.
Sam Allardyce has targeted the 29-year-old African midfield star, formerly with Real Madrid, as he looks to shore up his injury-stricken squad and capitalise on his team's barnstorming start to the season.
He is aiming to secure Adepoju's services for the rest of the season, possibly with a view to a permanent transfer.
"We're having talks with the player and trying to sort out the financial arrangements," the manager said.
