MIKE Whitlow was so impressed and moved by the work being done at Derian House Children's Hospice that he has opened the Reebok doors to the youngsters.
The Bolton captain, who has twice been a guest at the Chorley hospice, saw the dedication of the staff and carers and the cheery nature of the youngsters and immediately issued a personal invitation to the Burnley game.
Now the charity is to get four seats at every Wanderers' home game.
"Being suspended I asked them if they fancied coming over to see the game and have a chinwag with the players," Mike explained.
"The ones who came had never been to a football match before but they enjoyed it so much, the club decided to offer them regular seats. They're there for them if they want to use them.
"It's a fantastic place and they do a great job with the kids."
