THE plight of pensioner Christopher Brett who faces a 60-month wait to see a consultant about cataracts on his eyes has inspired a big response from other Bolton patients.
Bolton North East MP David Crausby even raised the case of 74-year-old Mr Brett in Parliament while talking abut the lack of healthcare investment in the town.
As the BEN reported on Friday, Mr Brett's work as an accountant could suffer as a result of the long wait to see a consultant at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
