PATHETICO Madrid of the Monday Fifth Division were previously unbeaten in their promotion winning season until they met a PSV Hangover side that were hungry for victory.

The game started at a rapid pace with both teams creating early chances to open the scoring.

However, Pathetico drew first blood and set themselves up for what should have been their eleventh win of the season. PSV fought back almost immediately and levelled the score with a superb strike. The game was played from end to end with both goal keepers being forced to be at their best pulling of some fine saves.

Pathetico then took the game by the scruff of the neck and put themselves in a comfortable lead at 6-3. PSV didn't look like scoring until they picked up the pace in the last ten minutes and dragged themselves back into it at 6-6. The decisive goal came in the last two minutes when PSV put an excellent move together and the finish was exquisite. PSV inflicting Patheticos' first defeat of the season with a 7-6 score line.
