A TEENAGER is recovering in hospital after a hit-and-run accident last week.
Stephen Johnson was knocked from his bike as he rode along York Street shortly before 7pm on Thursday. A car failed to stop after the collision.
The 15-year-old of Walshaw Road, Bury, was rushed to Pendlebury Children's Hospital where he suffered a cardiac arrest before staff managed to revive him.
He was taken to an intensive care unit and transferred to a general ward where his condition is described as satisfactory.
Two men are currently helping police with their investigations.
One man was interviewed on Friday while traffic police will speak to the second male later today.
