I READ with disdain that headmistress Marjorie Evans may be faced with a prison sentence in the near future.
When is someone going to put their foot down, and explain to the do-gooders of this country just what prats they are, and what damage they are causing.
Today's children are 'bomb proof' -- they cannot be punished, threatened, chastised in any way whatsoever by their parents, their teachers. or the police. Some know as much about the law as the Clerk of the Court.
For Marjorie Evans to be found guilty as charged, this is 100pc lunacy. Today's children will become parents of their own, to what example?
There is such a great discrepancy between judges in this county that I feel they also should be judged but, then again, I forget that they also are 'bomb proof'.
I feel for my grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as most parents will do, as to the future.
A great start to the return of standards and law and order would surely be the abolishment of all do-gooders.
