MANY a Thursday night I look at the vacancies placed by Bolton Council in the employment section of the BEN and try to guess what some of the fancy titled and well-paid jobs entail.
The Business.Com page (Monday, July 10), though, really left me baffled.
Five staff of -- deep breath -- Bolton Enterprise Services, part of Bolton Council's Economic and Physical Development Unit, were presented with certificates for being competent for D32 and D33, one also gaining a D34.
The certificates were presented by an assistant director of Bolton Council's Economic and Physical Development Unit.
Bolton Enterprise Services, part of Bolton Council's Economic and Physical Development Unit has also been awarded Centre Status to allow it to deliver National Qualifications in Business Planning and Information Technology to business and residents of Bolton.
Well done to the five staff but, can anyone please enlighten me to what all this means?
