A GOVERNMENT Minister will visit some of Bolton's major employers on Monday.

Regeneration Minister Beverley Hughes will tour firms which are in the Bolton West Industrial Development Enterprise area -- or Bolton WIDE as it is known. The firms are all spearheading the economic re-generation of the west side of Bolton. She will visit Matra BAe Dynamics, the Wingates Industrial Estate, Middlebrook, Fort James and the Horwich Loco industrial park.

She will later go to the Jarvis International Hotel at Blackrod where she will speak about re-generation in Bolton.

She will move on to Bury in the afternoon where she will go to the Asian Women's Centre, South Cross Street, Bury to discuss health related topics for Asian women.

She will also go to the New Kershaw Centre, Deal Street, Bury to meet managers of schemes which have received funding from the Government's Single Regeneration Budget.
