By Peter Mensforth Bradshaw professional Sairaj Bahutule is making people sit up and take notice.

The Pakistan all rounder has made a big hitting start to his Bolton campaign having scored two centuries and an innings of 90 to take his total to nearly 400 runs in just four games.

And it is not only batting in which excels. Last week against Heaton he followed up an innings of 115 not out by taking five wickets for 85 runs.

Tomorrow he faces probably his biggest test when he faces one of the most potent bowling attacks in the League.

The Westhoughton trio of Mahboob, Patrick Holder and Bhanabai have not yet started firing on all cylinders but the way Bahutule faces up to them tomorrow will give the first real indication of how his Bradshaw career will fare.

There could be some big hitting at Little Lever, where the home side's talented South African duo of pro Paul Rayment and Justin Orchard come up against Greenmount's Saeed Anwar and Mike O'Rourke.

Little Lever are currently second in the table to Kearsley, who face a tough task at Walkden, where Mike Bennison, Bernard Reidy and the Smith brothers are ure to provide a hot reception out on the pitch.

At the other end of the table, the two bottom clubs Farnworth and Astley Bridge meet at Bridgeman Park and with a little luck one of them may come away with their first winning points of the season.

Horwich are probably still kicking themselves for letting the chance of victory against champions Tonge slip away last week but that will only serve to make David White, Grant Long and Co doubly determined when they entertain an Egerton side still seeking some early season consistency.

Tonge will be confident of taking winning points at Eagley when their much maligned batting line-up will be expecting to have more of an easier time against another side who has yet to open its winning account.

Heaton and Farnworth SC look evenly matched, although both will want to perform better in tomorrow's match at Lower Pools than recent results have suggested.
