LOCAL history enthusiasts will give people an insight of life in old Salford in a series of Tuesday afternoon talks, starting next week.
The sessions, at Salford Tourist Centre, will start at 2.30pm on Tuesday, when historian Cliff Hayes will talk about 'Trafford Park -- a thousand years of history'.
The second session, on May 30, will be taken by another local historian, Ted Gray, who will give people a glimpse into life in Edwardian times with a talk entitled 'Postcards of Old Salford.'
