SO Carol Vorderman wore a short, low-cut dress to the Baftas. Big deal, it's not as if she looked awful. On the contrary, she looked fantastic!
Why do the press always have such a downer on celebrities who dress to please?
Carol is a beautiful lady with a figure to be proud of.
I wonder how many of her critics could do justice to that dress? I would hazard a guess that it wouldn't be many.
I'll bet none of them made it on to a "Top 20 for beauty" list, which Carol managed at a respectable 17th.
These are the same people who attack Ann Widdecombe for her appearance.
Not everyone can be a model and sniping at those who don't fit the catwalk image is nasty.
The most important thing is to be happy with yourself, whether you're a stunner, like Carol, or have a fuller figure, like Ann.
I have only one piece of advice for Carol, remember the old saying "Never apologise, Never explain".
She should never be ashamed or embarrassed to show off her figure, she is absolutely gorgeous.
