WE hope that Bolton is successful in its bid for a new specialist theatre for eye operations. They are in the last seven bidding from a national £20 million pot in the Government's Action on Cataracts.
Waiting list targets are huge for this simple but life-changing operation, and the private sector is being used. We urgently need this new theatre, and we hope that this fact is recognised.
