ON Saturday, May 13, I came into Bolton for the Streets Ahead Festival -- what an absolutely fantastic day out for myself, family and friends.
I was sad when the day was over. Saturday was the best day out I've experienced in a long time.
The street entertainers were brilliant and involved the crowd. The highlight of my day was watching BAM -- the French-Canadian drummers. Well done to the organisers -- a truly genius stroke.
Watching Sam Shine on stilts was magical. The music from all concerned was truly enchanting.
Well done to all the entertainers and please come back again next year -- or sooner.
