MAY I take this opportunity to thank Mr John Shepley, Deputy Director of Leisure Services, and Cllr Gerry Riley, Chairman of Leisure Services Committee, for their speedy action in renovating the Loyals War Memorial in Queens Park and the cleaning of the Farnworth War Memorial after it had been vandalised.
I would like to wish them every success in their future endeavours.
