THE TITLE of the poem which starts 'There's a one-eyed yellow idol to the north of Katmandu....' is 'The Green Eye of the Little Yellow God'. Every section ends with 'It was the green eye of the little yellow god". At one time it was popular recitation by elocutionists, entertainers etc. Raymond Dean
