RECENTLY, accompanied by four of my grandchildren, I visited the Octagon Theatre to see their production of Hansel and Gretel.
The costumes and stage effects were fantastic. The acting was superb and the audience, consisting mostly of children, was completely enthralled for the whole two hours.
Altogether, a most delightful afternoon and voted a winner by my crew.
We wanted to see this production because it offered an alternative experience to pantomime.
Well done, Octagon, we look forward to next year.
