STILL on the subject of education, many congratulations to staff and pupils at St Bernard's RC Primary School.
The school has been struck off the blacklist of schools which were deemed by chief inspector of schools, Chris Woodhead, to need regular scrutiny.
Clearly a strong, hardworking team, including people from St Ethelbert's School, has brought about this change. We applaud everyone involved.
